I agree with KlenTelaris I know a lot of people that are okay with a % to start. However Tranza is also correct the more experienced the salesman or woman the more cash he or she would like to make. Therefore usually the more experienced ones would like a salary + %.

so many companies here hire on reps, burn through all their contacts & then fire them 2 weeks later its not even funny

an experienced rep will be looking for a contract & up front cash

Seriously - you don't want a newbie handing this which it sounds you want someone to do the grunt work without putting anything into them. Whether its 20 or 90%, you will always get someone who is going to walk in - steal your clients then go somewhere that offers a salary and commission spot. Serves you right for treating people like vacuum cleaning sales reps.

Get better talent by offering at least a good base upfront with % later. YOu dont want to look like a company that no one wants to work with or cant stay long. Banners and reps are your best form of advertising

sorry if you call this shady. rep are getting paid at the moment the order is accepted. If this style is not your thing then ok. Think an salary and commission is the style to go ok. I can understand that. but that does not mean you have to compare us to another company. We have nothing to with it. Plus our quality is really good and we have people that are happy with the design and already running it. PLus people are paying when the design is done as that afterwards. All designs made and delivered non have not been delivired. So nothing shady or of that kind.
