They don't seem like they should be PR5 to me but I don't want to call someone a misleading scummy thief liar if I am wrong. I would appreciate some GFY opinions. I said these sites should not be PR5 and the only way I could imagine they are PR5 is if google is accidentally misinterpreting them as mainstream sites. The names have nothign to do with porn... The owner insisted they were porn sites the last time Google updated pagerank and in fact they jumped from PR4 to PR5. Should I call bullshit on him?

After some research, all of his "sites" consisted of former nonadult websites that he buys and turns into some simple adult blogs for the sake of ripping people out of their money.

Links like that aren't worthless. But its touch and go.

Generally I let all drops and pickups like this sit for 12-18 months, and see how the pr changes, and if they stand up to content changes etc before turning them into link juice.

Its a common practice for a reason folks, and its not because it doesn't work. (granted I don't generally sell links though)

stop it, and be careful about accusing people of being "scamming cunts"

keep an open mind to possibilities that you haven't considered..... just some advice

try an experiment to see where you are wrong, make a new site that is relevant to a good pr4 site you have, and give it one backlink from that site, from a pr4 page that is not filled with backlinks.... wait..... you will see something amazing within a year or likely much less to the site with that 1 backlink


and just because some pr checking automated website considers something suspicious, it may be fake, but it may not be..... don't assume that somebody's webpage somewhere that set up an automated pr checker is the end all of the truth. It may be right, but I wouldn't ever call anyone a "scamming cunt" based on evidence that you don't fully understand yourself
