OK following my post in this thread regards cross sales...

I am in need of a good programer... The problem I have and why I need a programer is this...

I want to add cross sales to my join pages, but only for typo traffic and my own traffic that we generate in house... So I need a way so the affiliate traffic goes to a clean tour with a clean join page with no cross sales...

But the typo traffic and my own traffic go to a tour and join page with the cross sales on (these being 3rd Party Cross Sales through CCBill)

Any ideas on how this can be done ???

Easiest way would just be multiple tours. Clean one for the affiliates and the main one in the root of the domain, with all your links and cross sales.

No programmer needed, really.

i will read that old thread
but really its just a matter of on the join form checking if an affiliate id is there and if not display the cross sales
i will have to see your site and your affiliate program first before i'd make any real statements.

The problem is (and please remember I am a super untechie non nerd) the affiliates are ccbill affiliates so their traffic links are managed by ccbill... if we'd thought of this from Day 1 we would of just set up so their traffic indeed went to a serperate tour... but we didnt

So as we want the typos to have cross sales... and our traffic to have cross sales I aint sure how we can do it As I said super non techie here

Can't be done "easily" I'm afraid since the ccbill cookie is stored on the ccbill domain. So any way that it could be implemented will have "holes" that will piss off affiliates if they see the cross sales. In fact, any affiliate going to the site as a typin will see the cross sales and think that they would exist for their own links as well. You could close those holes somewhat (and fix the issue in general), but having everyone change where they send the traffic.

Your only solution "long term" is to put a warning page on your sites, traffic from that goes to your own tour which includes the cross sales, and a seperate clean tour that is for the affiliates, which will require everyone changing their links... Yeah, a real pain but that's what needs to happen long term.
