It all started because I was very rude to the mother. I told her she was out of her mind to think I'd let her take my cousins anywhere. The arguments escalated, she threatened me with a gun, I turned her in, she retaliated by lying about me, etc. etc.

By the way, recruiting at the mall was early in my career. So was recruiting at strip clubs. Eventually, that wasn't necessary. I started paying referral fees to models for bringing in friends, put up billboards around town, advertised in the local university paper, advertised daily in the local help-wanted section of the daily paper... etc.
