This guy may be a scammer but the service he offered is interesting. Anyone with a history I can follow up on to confirm they're for real who wants to submit galleries hit me up on ICQ 141055935. And yeah, I knew $350 a month was too good to be true so compensation is negotiable.

Also, I need some heavy traffic numbers to make up for a server/hosting account virtually shutting down and killing a lot of TGP/MGP/Link List trades. I would be willing to pay for 'resonable' gallery and/or banner placements on a per month or per click through basis. Any ideas much appreciated.

Well, for philipines relations the 350$ / month is not that unrealistic for simple gallery submissions. If he had two clients he would be making 700$ a month which is above average income for unqualified labour over there. So it doesn#t look like spam on the first sight.

ON the other hand, being careful is rule #1 and you should never send upfront money to someone you don't know. If you get a job you don't get money before you start going to work.

I thought about not posting this admission.. but, for the sake of anyone else that may fall to these ever increasing scam artists, I felt it my duty to warn everyone and anyone about this giu who goes by the name of "SAMSON" on ICQ, as well as the other guy.. ( who maight be one of the same) who goes by the name of "johnspider" here in GFY, and his icq name is "michaelweb"

The really unfortunate result of this is that from now on.. any honest worker from the Philippines, or any of these other 3rd world countries will have a harder and harder time getting work.

Lets be clear on the fact that if someone tells me they are from the Philippines, and I go as far as paying him for some work, and if this person turns out to be a scammer.. my point was simply that he is making a bad statement for any and all workers that come from the same represented country... I did preface my statement with "any honest worker from the Philippines, or any of these other 3rd world countries will have a harder and harder time getting work." The bottom line is that if a person from the US accepts a full time job at $400 a month, then nobody would hire him.. but, if he represents himself from a 3rd world country where $400 is equal to $4,000 in the US, and turns out to be a scammer, then it will make it harder and harder for any legitimate worker from another country to find work with any of us here.

As far as having A LOT to learn.. you are correct.. even after 7 years of working in this industry, I can always admit there is so much more to learn... Like most of us.. we do learn from our mistakes.. or, at least we should be...

I dont and wouldnt discriminate from any country.. my point was simply that due to the scammers who represent themselves from various countries are making it harder and harder for any legit worker trying to find work.. it wasnt but a short time ago, that many of us wouldnt think twice about fronting out $200 - $500 for a foreign worker in advance, but those days are simply gone due to the ever increasing scammers... who, very well maybe from the USA as well..

You are absolutely correct!!! In fact, I have had several workers from the Philippines in the past that were excellent, and I have a couple now from there as well doing work for us.. my point was that for anyone that is new, or simply unknown without real refrences, its going to be harder and harder for them to get work from this board, or any other board if they require to be paid in advance.

I am not laying blame on workers from the Philippines, or any Country.. I am laying blame on all the scammers of the world....

ha ha, rereading what I wrote I might be sound kinda harsh, I just tried to say that be careful of US webmasters more than other countries. I don't know, maybe because it's more difficult to get work or whatever, but non-US people tends to be more careful about jobs. There are exceptions, of course, and maybe we'd agree on the classic "if it sounds too good..."
