If you have read everything around him before this situation, you'd know he was a trustworthy, hardworking guy. It's fucked up, but he did plan to deliver the work he was given. I bought a logo from him and he delivered - he was ridiculously honest regarding the transfer scam as well and was planning to finish the work to be able to pay back, but now he can't finish the work and he has to choose.

It was probably not just the light bill that was the whole problem, it was just the first thing to pay as to be able to keep working for the money. The reason he sold his computer and not his daughter's is that his was good and would actually sell..

There is logic in this. It was someone who was desperate for cash, who planned to offer work but couldn't get enough projects going, scammed for it, and then since he still didn't get that much work had sold his computer and couldn't deliver. Fucked up, but let's not go all paranoid on half-facts.

What he did here is CRIMINAL... no ifs ands or butts about it... if you feel otherwise then i have a bridge i can sell u

Im sorry but you cant defend the indefensible, what he did was criminal in my book, he even admitted his intent.

I'm not defending him - I agree that it was criminal, however Fletch is going "he must have scammed MILLIONS OF PEOPLE ALL ALONG, EVERYTHING HE SAYS IT'S A LIE!" It's a waste of energy, and assuming fake things dillutes the weight of the real act.

EDIT: Just read last Fletch's post now, got what you're saying now The reason he didn't have a portfolio site was that he got out of adult beginning of last year and he didn't renew his domain. Before I ordered the logo (which I could've done myself but indeed was trying to help) I checked his background and i remembered I had seen a nice design he had for sale months ago and that the links were down.

the writing was on the wall... as a designer I tend to have an opinion on these types, as ive been in this biz 10 years now, and guys like him should stay in mainstream scamming people. he clearly cant cut in adult

You know when i was younger and before i worked on my own i sometimes had problems paying my bills. Know what i did? I worked. Yes really, i worked. I worked my ass off. I took shitty jobs everywhere i could. I did 2 shifts in 24 hours. I worked as much as was needed to pay my bills. Very good. just for your information, Michael, worked for bizarredollars, and he did hundreds of designs for Alan and Myself, in fact other banner thread his examples are ALL bizarre designs, and we did not have any problems what so ever, but when things got hard for him, that is when this started so, I do know Michael is struggling, but he still has scammed, I have nothing but admiration for the work he has done.... and i still think (hope) maybe he can salvage something, and not let his talent go to waste, people know they will have to have the designs done first and then the money on delivery....
