Its upto you who you send traffic to. All my current 125 affiliates Ive done anything for them they need. Personally I think you are a fake nick trolling to mess with me. Some of the people in this thread that were dogging on me have met me since and now I would think they have a different opinion than they did before. And some in this thread are banned for the slander they pushed on me. Believe what you will. As a gesture of good faith to the Affiliates, I would have made adjustments to the contest as soon as it was evident that no one was going to win, and I still would have given out prizes to the top sellers, instead of rubbing their nose in it and laughing in their face that you should give yourself a gold bar since you easily reached your goal.
As it stands, you seem like a shameless scammer once again...

Whenever most honest people run honest contests, there is an expectation that someone will win. Indeed, it creates good PR to announce winners, and in the case of affiliate contests, it should create more loyal affiliates.
When there are no winners, people might tend to think it was a scam, or that the contest was somehow rigged so no one could win.
Instead of modifying your contest when it was evident no one would win, you let the contest end with no winners. Indeed, it took someone here asking about the contest results after the contest was over, for you to even acknowledge it.
I'm not telling you how to run your contest, I'm just saying that how you ran your contest says a lot about your character, and that perhaps far less people will participate in your future promotions as a result of how you handled this one.
What I find worse though, is that when it was pointed out that nobody won a dime in your $20,000 contest, that you laughed it off, and then chose to in effect ridicule your Affiliates by telling them that you should give yourself a gold bar since you "easily" made your goal.

This was a promotion. In order to win something they must meet the criteria of the promotion. No one hit it. And I had to re address things because you are trying to create the impression the contest was a scam. THAT is what you were insinuating. When you are man enough Ill be glad to sit down with you at the next show we are at and chat more. Until then if you want to make these little backward insinuating quips go right ahead. Your lottery analogy is totally off base, because honest lotteries have winners; not always grand prize winners, but some winners - and occasional grand prize winners, otherwise, before long, no one would play them.
They also post their odds - in this case, your odds would be zero in infinity.
As I have pointed out, you had the opportunity to re-adjust your contest so that someone could win something, when it was apparent that no one would even win the minimum prize for sending 2.5 sales a day on average.
However, you basically didn't care if anyone won or lost, but only that you made money, and then saved money by not having to pay out a single penny in contest reward money.
Go ahead, gloat, and act proud about that, if you think that makes you or your program look good.
Sticky: Join my program for the opportunity to win $20,000 in prizes...oh sorry, I guess you lose since it is impossible for anyone to achieve 2.5 sales with my great program. I should give myself a gold bar, because I "easily" hit my goal.

What about looking out for your top affiliates. I'm sorry you did not reach any of the goals to earn a prize, but since people put in a lot of effort I'll reward the top 2 with an ipod, or something smaller for their effort. Sort of a thanks for trying prize. Or a consolation prize?
