Babagirls, well first off I wouldn't quit. I would sit around and do nothing to make them fire me. This way I could collect the unemployment. why waste my million *L* next off I would buy a travel bus. it is hard to party on the road with a jag. but with a bus you can party hardy all day and night.

Hmmm, 1 mil doesn't go as far today as it used to. I'd put at least half of it in the bank then I'd get a new vehicle (A geo metro just doesn't cut it anymore). A touch of reality. $1 mil does not buy an island with all the stuff that goes with it.

You can't live high the rest of your life off of it. You could get by provided you managed it correctly and didn't get in trouble. Figure a 5-10% return on the average. You'll have better years for your portfolio of investments and then some bad ones.

Most small gas stations have a rough time. You're not gonna start with a $40K station and turn into $2mil. Not many places to find a $40k station to begin with.

Don't get me wrong, it would be a nice shot in the arm, even if you had to pay taxes on it. Assuming that youu did, that $1 mil could have just become ahalf.

A million dollars is something a lot of people have - it's very common. In other currencies it's eg 774K Euros or only 531K UK Pounds.

Unless you just got unleashed with money and go raving mad spending it and trying to impress people - it would not change your lifestyle much. Hell.. I got more than that and holding a far more on behalf of other people - and it has little bearing on my lifestyle.

People matter far more than any money - but it can take a while to learn this
