Xpress Media Inc.?? Scam??

Does anyone know 'Xpress Media Inc.'? He e-mailed me this on january 16th:

'I seen your post on PornoJunkies advertising your affiliate program. I have an opt-in adult webmaster e-mail list with 3,300 webmaster who requested news & info on new sponsors and deals in the adult industry This would be a great way to market your affiliate program. If your interested, e-mail me back or ICQ me.'

I contacted him and paid him the same day to have him send out my ad to his list. He said he would do that the day after but I never heard from him again.. He hasn't been online on ICQ since and hasn't replied to my e-mails..

I hate it when this happens

It wasn't a huge amount of money, but still..

Obviously he is reading these boards..

Yeap I got scammed out of $500 but it wont be for long, in the process of getting a refund through epassport.

I HIGHLY reccommend no one do business with this person if he/she pops back up again. I was promised one thing and all i got was weeks worth of excuses. The he/she dissapeared.

That sucks. Unbelievable that people can get away with it. Well, not in your case since you are working on the refund. I paid by PayPal. It was only $50 but still.. I just hate to be scammed like this. I can't get a refund from PayPal because I purchased a service, no goods/items.

did you use your credit card or bank account with pay pal. I always use my CC if paypal doesnt want to refund it then they can get a chargeback slapped on their ass, done that once before, lol they get pissed.

I think there was no money in my PayPal account at the time I paid, so I guess it's taken from my cc. I never use my bankaccount with PayPayl. So I could try to get a chargeback..

I called my cc company but a chargeback has to be made within 30 days, I'm too late :-(
