mom or not, i'd never have anyone on my bank account. hell, even when me and the boyfriend get married, we decided to keep our seperate bank accounts but just get a new joint account for bills and such.

my thoughts are "its my money, no one elses" and no one else is gonna protect my income like i can.

one piece of advice that i was told a couple of years ago (and this applies to every situation out there) is...
"Never put yourself in the position to be able to get fucked."
example: dont cheat on your partner in your own bed, dont co-sign a loan, dont let friends borrow your car, etc etc.

no one is gonna look at for your best interest in life BUT YOU.

I am really sorry this happend to you, i hope you and your family will get through this & be okay. I guess all you can do is take this situation as a lesson learned & try to fix the problem. I'd try to take her ass to small claims court, but im not sure if that would fly or not since her name is on the account as well.

I reported them to the RCMP when I got the offer and the 'human resources' person stopped responding to my pointed questions.

I would be pissed like mad if I warned her and she did it - her errors put her kids in financial trouble
