I guess it makes sense, if you were to get more signups from all the people that would want this traffic, instead of sending that traffic to your own sites.

Now, what does this thread say? "We will send you traffic" ..

Okay, it's understandable that it's a ploy to get more signups in exchange for providing sucky traffic from the last exit consoles, but give me a break.

It's the "idea" that is wrong, not the fact that someone's actually doing it. If it brings them more sign-ups, more power to them.

For those that don't understand why we would offer this promo, we try to offer incentives and giveaways like many sponsors do, but we try to come up with incentives that have some business value and just another PSP or Xbox giveaway.

Talking with a lot of our affiliates as we do, many told us that traffic is one thing they want or need to grow their sites and business, and since we have a ton of internal traffic from many sources, we decided instead of "trading" it with other sponsors, we decided to give to our affiliates to grow their business and in turn grow ours....
