.XXX domain name UPDATE posted on ICANN's website

ICM Registry Submits Revised Proposed .XXX Registry Agreement

    http://www.icann.org/

unfortunately its 87 pages long, so I cant be bothered to spend the whole day reading it

anyone has some information what has changed there?

btw anyone can submit public comments there, but most GFY'ers cannot express themselves in a professional way, so it's be better if only those who could - submitted their comments

    .....
    I don't use ICQ anymore.

REMINDER: .xxx is a bad idea for the adult industry and the things that has changed in that agreement are probably just small details reflecting the issues brought up by US Department of Commerce
    I don't use ICQ anymore.

Seriously though, This .xxx will fuck a lot of people and make it super easy for ISP's to ban the .xxx extension. I'm all for stopping it.

simple summary - Its a step by step timeline of the .xxx from idea/planning conception to complete implementation. It includes objections brought forward via other organizations and reactionary compliance or planning offered in response by ICM.
If at first you do succeed - try to hide your astonishment.

Whats so bad about the extension? Will adult related content be legaly required to use the .xxx only? Sure .xxx would make it easier to filter content for parental controls, but I dont see how forcing webmasters to use the extension could/would happen.
