most VOD sites convert ROI over a year's time... it's the long haul 2-3,4,5,6 years that really will make the difference.

vod buisness model is non-recurring subscriptions... customers buy what they want when they want. we improve sales conversions by given away free 15 minutes to first time users.

I would recommend to create a custom theater

example: hustler theater with only huster content. <-- then just advertise hustler related keywords. "huster video on demand" "hustler movies" etc...
do this for every studio and you will do well in the long haul.

you'll never see an adsense click in your account for more than $2-3 anyway. those crazy high click prices are typically only shown on google itself - the people bidding high amounts opt out of the adsense network so they don't get hit with a ton of clicks from 'made for adsense' sites.
