I just came to GFY for this thread, I knew it'd exist already ;)

Two of the missles were short range scud missles, one of the missles was supposed to be their new long range missle technology.

Their long range missle failed and broke up in mid air.

They tried to get our attention on July 4th, and they embarassed themselves.

Plus we all doubt that they've even developed a nuke small enough to fit on a missle. Even if they did, they'd probably nuke themselves while trying to launch the fucking thing.

That is unless China is supplying NK with weapons to be their muscle.

Time will tell. What do you all think?

Japan has the largest surface combat fleet outside of the United States in the world, one of the most modern air forces in the entire world, the most modern airforce in the Pacific region, and the air defense weapons available in the world. Japan doesn't have a large standing army, which is why it is considered a defensive nation.

Japan wouldn't need the US to defeat North Korea, in fact it wouldn't even be close. It should be noted the AWACS, AEW, and F-15 interceptor systems in Japan is considered as good or better than any single mainland country in Europe (not the UK), and anyone familiar with tactical military combat will tell you, if you control the air you control the battlefield.
