I haven't seen that but I would be more happy if they made sense and formed an actual sentence or phrase . That goes for a lot of the descriptions companies give though.

Sarah that's not always easy to do when trying to keep to a 3 or 5 word limit on descriptions. I just wrote descriptions for over 200 galleries and it was tricky trying to not get repetitive

Normally when people have a gripe they contact the company. If I have a problem with my bank, I don't go posting on a forum asking them to contact me.

I reviewed galleries for JJJ for 4 years and wrote descriptions for all those galleries. You can make sense in four or five words. However, what I am talking about is lengthy descriptions they have written that clearly weren't written by somebody who normally writes in English. Certainly not something that is just an AEBN issue. I just end up giving them new descriptions so it isn't a huge deal just something I have noticed.

This effects everyone that is currently using those descriptions.. So everyone needs to know so they can go thru their DB and fix the bad ones. Contacting AEBN directly would just hide the issue for everyone else.

I agree with everyone has to say in here. If there was an error then AEBN should be called out. I doubt posting it on GFY will even notify 2% of AEBN's affiliates.

AEBN is a stand up company. If they felt that their descriptions had some mistakes, I guarantee you they would send out a mass email to all of their affiliates letting them know corrections have been made.

Point being, we donhahaha8217;t even know if someone from AEBN has even seen this thread to correct the problems you found.

I don't agree with FHM that you should have contacted AEBN first.

This is something that is important for everyone to know about.

I don't know anything about AEBN or the people running it, but regardless whether they are 'standup', 'top-notch', or made of solid gold.. there would be an inevitable delay between:

A) you notifying them
B) them fixing it
C) them notifying affiliates who ALREADY DOWNLOADED IT.

Let's get real. Issues like this need to be drug out in front of as many people as possible.

And so what if GFY only covers 5% of AEBN's affiliate base? He was doing us all a favor by trying to protect us from potential legal troubles.

I know for a fact, that the FBI is monitoring/reading the adult webmaster boards, so I´m guessing that also includes GFY.

Anyone who might have gotten these description from AEBN with the words "child", "children", "kids" etc. better check their sites

Of course I fear many will not read this, because they are at internext, which might flag their sites as potential CP sites with the authorities
