Choker sending fake traffic?

I purchased a few K of traffic from choker today. (I had some credit with them) Anyway, I'm logging the activity and noticed something a bit odd...

Hundreds of ips in the same range:
195.93.21.x - Where x is a random number

The MAJORITY (~90%) of them viewed ONE random gallery and then closed the site.

There's no way that's real traffic...

Looking through more of the logged ips, and am noticing its happening a lot more than I thought. Perhaps it's someone cheating choker (most likely) but I'm definitely not buying if this continues. I'll use up my credit and I'm done with them.

Here's a sample from the range I posted above.

In the IP list above, ALL of them came in within 5 minutes of each other, viewed ONE gallery from a RANDOM paysite and left immediately after that.

ALL clicked a total of 2 times.

Those that didn't view a gallery, clicked on a page, followed by a paysite, then closed it.

Not what I'd call normal surfing...

There's no question these are fake.

Oh, there's no question some of it is real.

The problem is that I'm using this traffic to guage visitors surfing patterns on my new site so that I can tweak things to make it more sticky...

As such, I'm sending the traffic in blocks, looking at what they do, adjusting and then buying another block...

It's impossible to do this if the majority of the traffic is fake since I'm running on averages. After buying the traffic, my click-thru ratio to paysites dropped from around 50% to 5%...

Open a DOS prompt and type:
tracert IP adress (press enter)

It will give you something like:
Tracing route to cache-los-ad04.proxy.aol.com [195.93.21.100]

Check one ip-adress from every ip-range and see if im not right

AOL proxies have for long been whitelisted by traffic brokers, but I wouldn't be surprised if someone found a nifty way run a hitbot through them. In that case, I'm sure Choker is at a loss on this as well, as he's also on the receiving end of hitbot traffic.

I've bought blocks of traffic in the 300k range from Choker in the past, hell I think I have close to that owed me in "chicken eggs" or whatever he calls them. I've never had a problem with his traffic, but if there currently IS a problem then wouldn't it have been better to just talk directly to him and see if the problem can't be remedied?

The traffic you get from choker comes from sites that sell traffic to choker,,, I am 99% certain that one of the resellers is cheating choker.. the cheater is probably using a hitbot to earn $$ to buyback real traffic,, Check the referring urls for those ips & see if they all come from the same site,,
