Jet Promo at Vegas - Get your free flight (Pics)

As some of you know next to adult internet biz i am a pilot and fly on private jets.

The company i fly for purchased a new jet, a falcon 900.

As a promo for the new jet we are taking it around the globe for 2 weeks. I have planned a stop in Vegas McCarren Intl. Airport. I didn't set the exact date and time yet but will do this asap.

I'll have a 6 hour window to take her up for a few times. I was thinking 3 flights, 1 hour each.

We will fill up the bar so if you wanna go post your info here and i'll contact you once i have the exact date and time.

I could fit in Australia but i think we might need an overnight upthere then. I got the wife with me and so does my F/O (co-pilot).

As it stands right now we are free to take her where we want aslong as we do the stops above.

Main priority here is to present her at the local airports air taxi services.

I'll keep you posted if i fit Australia in.

Well, this is her delivery paint. She will recieve her scheme in March. Indeed white with a blue logo and lines in it.

At the moment we don't have any contacts upthere because we never did any marketing research if we could gather up clients upthere but it never hurts to try on a promo trip

At 0.80 Mach, 40,000 feet altitude full paxed she can do about 5000nm. I didn't say it would be straight in trip, not many aircraft can do that trip in one hub (although there are a few). The fuel and time elapsing is paid by the company of wich me and my dad are the main stock holders. We originally planned a promo from 2 weeks to 1 month. Right now i'm setting it at two weeks but i could lenghten it to a month, altough i don't prefer to.

For me personally promo trips are vacation time. It's just a mather of getting the jet to airports with air taxi services and gettings some taxi service companies to "know" we have this new jet. The thing in this biz is that you never have any guarantees, flight services change overnight and so does the market. We lease most of the jets because of that. If you loose one month of leasing costs to promotion that isn't a big deal. If you loose 6 months of flying time because you didn't do any promotion and people don't know about your jet, that IS a big deal

Guess you forgot that you can deduct the fuel costs from your taxes outhere because you can write it off as company costs, not fully but alot of it.

Same as with a car.... if you buy a car and fuel card in the name of the company you can deduct those costs from your taxes as this is a needed object for the company to do the service. Exact same with aircrafts.

That's how it's done in Belgium.

They say they are good unless there is a special event or holiday weekend.

FunkyDog fyi HND (Henderson Executive Airport) is close and may an alternative if McCarran is busy.
