How is the payment structure to affiliates that use your site?

I mean... I've jumped into the sms billing 2 years ago for a while but was pretty disappointed that I had to wait up to 3 months(!) sometimes before payments from some foreign telcos were released and affiliates finally got paid their share of it.

If your company pays frequently (weekly/bi-weekly/monthly) without any hold backs and long waits (in other words, you take the risk that you have to wait a long time to get the money from some slow foreign telcos) I surely am interested to jump back in again.

We have been dealing with Telcos for over 10 years now so we got some securities concerning the payments ;)
Most of the providers are long terms partners...

Payments are done bi-weekly or monthly as the webmasters convenience.
Example : all transactions made between the 1st and the 15th of the month are paid around the 18th.
All transactions made between the 16th and 31st are generally paid on the 4th of the following month.

2 years ago was still a bit early to make bank with SMS payments. Especially on the Internet. With that worldwide offer, now is the good time and i think this will last for at least the next 3-4 years minimum. Enough to build a business out of it for sure.
Every type of content nowadays is being billed by SMS, and in pretty much every country (look at any tv commercial at night for porn services, it was not that big 2-3 years ago. Same for free newspaper adult ads)

of the countries whose numbers you show above, the ones worth billing have credit cards, or Direct debit abilities. the rest are too poor to pay a decent amount, and the phone company takes half. so you sell your product for pennies.

i hear you 100%. The only *small* problem nowadays is that surfers are not willing anymore to pull out their credit card and get billed monthly 29.99... I have been in this business for 8 years and i have seen credit card conversions ratios decreasing from 1/100 to 1/10,000 ....

So offering the SMS payment solution as an addition is perfect for these people. I have some webmasters making 6,000 or 7,000 sms a day, at 1 euro per SMS, that's 7000 euros/day = 210,000 EUROS per month. These webmasters would never do that much with Credit Card, it's not 2001 anymore!

Also look around you, in every country i travel in Europe, all content that you see on TV or on newspapers is billed by SMS. Because it's the most convenient way to pay, it's cheap for the users and everyone is now used to it.

Im saying : keep billing your customers by credit card membership although this is decreasing and will keep on decreasing in the future month, and add SMS onto your sites for additional customers and additional $$$ and amazing conversions (1/80 on some countries).
