AVN ADS UPGRADES TO IMPROVED PLATFORM

Chatsworth, Calif., August 17, 2007 - AVN Media Network announced today that it has moved to an enhanced platform for its online advertising network, AVNAds.com. The change is in an effort to improve customer performance and to boost overall user experience on AVNAds.com.

The complete build is scheduled for September 30, but AVN stated it plans to accelerate the build of certain enhancements to meet the demanding needs of its customers. Existing AVN Ads publishers, advertisers and affiliates will need to create a new account on AVNAds.com in order to take advantage of the exciting features and benefits. Customers will simply have to go to AVNAds.com and login with their username and email address.

Benefits for advertisers will include additional advertising products, more granular targeting options, and better customer service. As for publishers, they will receive a bigger revenue share, multiple payment options, and improved customer support.

To ensure 100% uptime in ad delivery, AVN will be moving its AVNAds.com platform into two Equinix Datacenters and one Savvis Datacenter. It will be supported by a geographically-distributed DNS setup and Akamai edge serving. AVN?s move to align itself with top tier technology providers comes in response to downtime on the former platform. Further, AVNAds.com will be monitored 24/7 by Keynote Systems with a System Administrator on call at all times.

We have moved torrent sites out of the AVNAds.com network in the past. However, our technology partner (at that time, AdBrite) chose to continue working with them.

What is the status of AdBrite at this time regarding sites that have adult torrents, and do any of your partners still engage in selling to such sites?

I like AVN publications, attend some of your shows, purchase from some of your advertisers, and might even consider advertising with you in the future.

However, all that is in jeopardy if you choose to remain/get in bed with people that could give a shit about my business (which is creating exclusive adult content).

It IS their job to know whom they are doing business with.

If they are selling ads to X production company as AVN, and then selling ads via AVN Ads, to Y non-production company (such as a dating company or sex toy company), on Z company's torrent site, that is giving away (unauthorized) the content of X production company for free, then there is most certainly a conflict of interest, at the very least.

If that becomes the status quo, then they may have to change their name from AVN Ads (Adult Video News Ads), to ACPA (Adult Content Piracy Advertising).

1) AVN received many complaints about our last platform partner. A decision was made (for many reasons) to move onto a new enhanced platform. As a result of the separation, the previous platform partner is withholding the user database. We are currently exploring legal means to attain the database and import it over (as you had said would be a lot easier).

2) That will be a decision made by our previous platform partner (who you get your checks from). Business-wise it makes sense for them to pay you for ads served. We will intervene if necessary. If you choose not to open a new account, you will not receive the greater revenue share, new products, additional payment methods, etc.

3) We will be turning on the self-service marketplace very shortly. The date is TBD. However, if you are uncomfortable sending traffic to the interim form capture, simply remove this snippet of code for the time being:

GFY does not have a PM facility but I would appreciate being able to speak with someone at avnads on the phone with regards to advertising. I signed up with avnads and have suddenly found that the only support I can get is via adbrite.

I understand the reason for the abruptness of what is being called a transition but I feel the lack of any communication with the people that have filled in your forms, since Friday, is shoddy at best.

As noted in the official press release, the scheduled date for separation was September 30, 2007. The move was in response to our previous platform taking the AVNAds' clients. We have a call in 10 minutes to discuss a smoother transition for all parties involved.
