Our most profitable sponsors for 2007!

I've never done this type of post, but recently I've been pouring over our numbers with various sponsors, seeing what can be optimized and who deserves more traffic, so I'll share with you our top 15, by profitability per unique out. Mind u this includes rebills and some of the sponsors we've been promoting over the last 4 years.

The criteria I've used was a minimum of 20k uniques sent to the sponsor over the course of the year. If you're looking to add some new sites to your lineup, the following may provide a good choice. I included those without webmaster referral as well:

I agree with your results for Adult Platform. They have modest recurring payouts per sign up but the great conversion ratios and good retention more than make up for it.
And have to agree with everyone that Rabbit's Reviews is a superb site!

Just curious, while I'm sure the sponsors' sites have quite an important role in converting and retaining the traffic, wouldn't the quality of the review also matter, in terms of conversions? Or rather said, the rating of the site in question.

i think it's both. unfortunately there are some highly rated sites that are not converting well, even after many followups with sponsors. on the other hand, some of the worst rated sites do extremely well, because usually people that are joining those type of sites are joining regardless of the review- they're what Ali G would call trysexual surfers
