so much for a good fucking birthday...the worst day of my life

well friday night the day before my birthday i went out for a small bit. not too long just to say hey to a couple friends. anyhow when i came back i was walking up to the apartment building entryway put up my arm to open the door and went to put my electric key up to the reader and then i tripped and ended up going arm and face first through plate glass.

needless to say the hallways of my building and my apartment looked like a fucking horror movie. ambulance said it appeared to be 3 pints of blood lost. So on satuday at midnight (my birthday) i was admitted to a hospital here in romania. all i can say is i saw my entire inside of my arm; fat, muscle, bone, a horrifying experience even if i saw it on someone else.

i underwent 4 hours of surgery, stayed the entire day and night in the hospital, then i come home this morning all bandaged up.

more great news followed when i checked my voicemail. i just called my aunt in rhode island. my grandmother is on her death bed in the hospital, the only woman in my family who ever loved me unconditionally in spite of all my fuck ups. now my entire family is sitting there waiting for her to pass and im stuck in fucking romania post operation and can barely work to forget shit.

life is just fucking shit and when it rains it pours.

My brother did that when he was a kid, Him and my other brother were chasing each other through the house. When he got to the back door he didnt slow down and hit the latch to the storm door with his hand. It was locked his hand slipped off the latch and went through the storm window.

His body followed and when he was halfway through the momnetum stoped and he laid down on the sharp slivers of the bottom part of the window.

He ended up looking like someone sliced his whole abdomen open glass was in his liver, kidneys and spleen. He had to be taken to shock trauma hospital by helicopter

now he looks like he has a giant smiley face on his side from the scar
