Anyone know where I can get a copy of DreamWeaver 8?

OK, before it sounds like Im tryng to steal it, or get a freebie, I run a legal copy of Dreamweaver CS3 but one of my older programs, a DHTML generater, ISNT compatible with the CS3 version... It does however work with the older 8 version...

Any idea where I can download the older '8' version, (Just the trial will do) so I can do a quick job I need to do with the DHTML editor???

I cant find it online... Any ideas?

I've been in that position. If you call Adobe, they will sometimes sell you an older product (when you explain your situation), even though it's not listed in their store.

Thanks, but unfortunately, the situation is as follows:

I did some work for someone, a few years ago, using DW8 and my DHTML generator, to generate dynamic menus... Now they have asked me for a couple of changes... I of course said 'Yeah no problem' Loaded up the orig files into the generator, made the changes and went to save to dreamweaver CS3... And I got an error...

Did some research, only to discover the incompatibility issues... But I have told these people that it was no big deal to do the changes (Which it wasn't) BUT THAT ID HAVE IT DONE BY TOMMOROW NIGHT... !!!

So if I can get a copy like, well, now.... I can open it, insert the file, close it and Im done... If not, well, its no biggy, but Im gonna have to let them down...

So I dont really have time to contact adobe, and 'buy' a copy... Nor is it worth it... But if I just had the trial for half an hour I could use it and its job done...

PLUS I originally paid for the DW8 Download in about 2005, which was upgraded to CS3 this time last year, but I dont have the orig .exe file for DW 8 anymore... ARGGHHH !!!

Still, its not the end of the world...

Being honest, Im not talking morality here... Ive already paid them for it once...
I just dont wanna be using PB if I can help it, and I dont want anything dodgy on my PC... Besides they are all diff sizes... Which is the genuine one, and which are the ones with shit in them that shouldn't be there?

I just need the legit trial exe.... Thats all

The trial .exe is the same as the full version. Download and scan the file. Sometimes you need to do what you need to do.
