For those of you who know don't know me, my name is Donnie Adamson and I am the FORMER Online Marketing and Affiliate Programs Director of MCP Entertainment (Owner of MisguidedMedia). The reason I say former is that the company has not contacted me since the New York City Webmaster Access show which I paid out of my own pocket to attend and promote the program.
Approximately 5 months ago when myself and Latin Teen Cash ended our projects together, MCP Entertainment had the "CashIn3D" affiliate program with a 70% revshare, and contacted me in regards to marketing their affiliate program and paysite Bangin3D.com.
Throughout negotiations of my employment I percieved quite a large amount of "non winning program features" within the program and gave them a program layout that in my eyes would be successful.
Those things included but were not limited too a complete program rebranding, complete paysite rebranding and redesign, affiliate tool setup, hosting setup (as they were on an ASP backend for some CRAZY reason), programming (myself and others), complete project management from content organization, hosting setup, backend installations, subdomain setup, cascades, cross sales, traffic, affiliate management, everything from A-Z.
Well, after all that, 2 paysites, and so forth, I have literally been fucked in the ass with a sand paper dildo and have been thrown out like the trash.
After the launch of Misguided Media and Bangin3D.com I should have realized that the company was not as "reliable" as they had shown themselves to be. The outsourcing company for our designer at hand had contacted me as the owner of the company was "unreachable" yet he conversed with me every day. After the account became 2 months overdue with the outsourcing company they cut the designer.
Thats where my job grew even more. I officially became the companies server admin, marketing director, full time designer, programmer, affiliate manager, project manager, sales director, and yadda yadda yadda. I did all of this for 600 dollars per week and not once complained about my salary. Immediately after the launch of HDPornKings (which i advised against the branding but was told to do so anyhow) I took my own money that I had earned from building this program and two paysites and purchased my plane ticket (well had MCP entertainment purchase my plane ticket and keep my funds) to the NYC Webmaster Access show. I also used my own money to pay for my hotel in staten island due to the steep prices of the city itself, the pass, and all my expenses during the trip. I was literally working 15-18 hour days monday through sunday when all of those in the office in chatsworth had weekends off. I busted my ass more than anybody.
Let's get a little deeper into this as well. I left Romania with 700 dollars in my pocket, as the company had promised to have my funds waiting upon my arrival to the USA. Well it wasnt there when I arrived, and for the first 2 days I managed on 700 bucks including my hotel, 200 dollar admission to the show, and expenses back and forth from staten island, then I went broke, and was stranded.
At this point, I had lost it and was stranded. Fortunately Harmik from Epoch helped me out and I also picked up a another tattoo which really helped me out. With that being said, I finally recieved my pay (2 days late) and was ok. I finished the show, made good business and the "war" so to speak to me was worth it (thanks for your traffic guys).
I then came up to connecticut and rhode island to see family and friends that I hadn't seen in 2 years and talked to the owners my first day back and began hitting up my contacts. I decided to take the weekend off and started on monday. No contact, tuesday, no contact, wednesday (payday) no contact. I have been exhausting every means of contacting the company and owners since my start back last monday. Well, its now tuesday morning, 6 days after I was supposed to be paid, and there has been not even a message sent to me.
I have also missed my flight back to Romania where all of my belongings, clothes (besides those brought with me) my puppy, computer, EVERYTHING is still there. I have exhausted all of my funds, and have hit the most bottom point of my life. I missed my flight on my own behalf. I did leave 6 hours prior to my flight, however due to NYC traffic I was gridlocked and missed my flight.
Immediately after missing my flight I tried to call the owners of MCP/Misguied Media to rebook it so I could at least make it back to my home, well, no reply, and I cant do anything as its booked under their credit card.
Consider this my resignation. You have left me broke without a computer, a care, or a hope in the world and I have lost everything that I have gained due to you "avoiding" me and your companies responsibilities. In all honesty, I wish you would have just spoken with me so I would have at least some type of closure and been able to move on before having absolutely nothing but clothes in a bag sleeping on my buddies couch in a basement with everything dear to me halfway across the world. I have absolutey nothing, and nobody to help me, but its cool, I know I have what it takes and the dedication to put my life back together.
I am not leaving the adult industry, yes I may have to work some "real world" jobs until I get back on my feet, but for those of you who really do know me, and know how dedicated I am, I won't be down for long. I am seeking employment from this point on and will be posting a formal resume by this time tomorrow, and I am also willing to relocate anywhere. If you need references, I have them all day from Program Managers, personal contacts, affiliates, whatever.if you need any odd jobs done...sites made/blogs installed....anything hit me up asap, i'm a hell of a hard worker...& just down on my luck because some company decided to strand 5,000 miles away from home.
I just figured I would give the majority of the story so everyone knows to avoid doing business with MCP Entertainment and Misguided Media from this point on, as I don't even think they will pay out now that I am not there. AFFILIATES STOP SENDING TRAFFIC NOW and send it somewhere where you can trust you will be paid, odds are if they fucked me, they will fuck you too.
