I know...I run AVS sites to match because there really isn't anything out there. I think people just don't get the niche and then there isn't much content out there and they don't understand enough to shoot their own content that will suit that people that are seriously into it. I would love there to be just one really good paysite for plushie and then I would sell it all the time but in someways there not being much helps my AVS sites, I guess.

There should be enough money in the furry niche to justify shooting a fair amount of exclusive content, though. Especially because it appeals to both the true fetishists as well as the curious.

A confused program owner could just listen to the requests of members to know what types of content to get more of.

Well, that is true of any fetish but most don't. Think about balloon fetish. In theory it is easy to just listen to what is asked for but yet the majority of sites out there that try for the balloon fetish traffic don't really 'speak' to the guy with the fetish. Naughty Niche is the exception..they get it.

The furry fetish should be easier to shoot, though. As long as you get the outfits right and have fairly attractive women to shoot, you're pretty much ahead of anything I've seen so far.

Moreover, if you focus on the "light" version (catgirls and such instead of full fursuits), it should have considerable crossover appeal.

What I'm thinking of is the real life type, with actual people dressed up. That should be easier to sell, since there is much less of it to go around.

That's news to me. I thought the 'furry' just meant cartoons. I gave up on it because, as you noticed, the people who go for that are the same demigraph as 4chan (read: they'll steal it before they pay for it, unless it's pocky).

That's exactly the reason the cartoon type is pretty much pointless to try and sell. And worse yet, you'd actually be "competing" with the stolen professional japanese stuff and the free amateur stuff. That's a fight which isn't worth fighting.

There is very little pornographic furry cosplay content out there, though, and judging by the amount of times the same content gets posted over and over again on semi-relevant forums, there's definitely a market for it.

awesome niche, I think the stuffed animals and hardcore mix might be a little iffy on the legalities? maybe that is why there aren't any real furry sites, its rather twisted stuff but would sell sooooo good.

plus the costumes take a lot of work.
