John Travolta's Son Jett Dead at 16

Jett Travolta, the 16-year-old son of John Travolta and Kelly Preston, has died during a family vacation.

The family's attorney, Michael Ossi, confirmed the tragic news, telling Reuters the young man suffered a fatal seizure at the Travolta clan's home at the Old Bahama Bay Hotel on Grand Bahama Island.

Efforts were made to revive Jett, but he died at the scene.

Jett had a history of seizures, according to Ossi. Preston had said her son suffered from Kawasaki disease, which can lead to heart problems for some children.

The teenager was the couple's oldest child. They also have a daughter, Ella Blue, born in 2000.

I do not know this family but I did have a family member die from a seizure disorder. Yes they were taking medication for years. I do not know The Travolta's personally but I can still feel their pain. To lose anyone sucks and I am sure it is worse to have the media all over it. Some of us actually have compassion for other people. Not sure when it became wrong to have compassion for others.

I think a lot of people have suffered a loss, and when they read stories like this they can relate. I know I can relate to this story personally because my younger sister died from epilepsy. Celebrity or not, I would still feel bad for them. To lose your child is hell, to have the media hounding you only makes it worse.

Me and my wife have lost 2 children a 3 month old son and a 6 month old daughter both to sids, I would give anything or have done anything to not lose them, so when I read that they had the medicine and stuff to help the kid and didn't wanna give it to him? Because of Scientology??????????????? So they chose to lose there son???? I don't feel sorry for them one bit, and after losing two of my own and knowing nothing could be done I truly hope the Travolta's rot in hell.
