Self serving, selfish, using, family members..

It's bad enough that we all have friends who are this way, but when family members pull that crap.... it just gets under my skin like nothing else.

I found some very old family pictures and got them online, my wife put a few into a digital scrap page and put it online.

Naturally everyone in the family was curious if there was more, but one family member in particular demanded more, had to have more, needed to know where we got them, had to have them.... didn't even compliment her on her digital scrap work. No 'hi' or 'how's it going?'. We just hear from her when she wants something out of us.

So I get them online, she grabs them immediately and races to Facebook to post them all so that everyone in the family will think that she had them first. That everyone in the family will give her all the attention because she has all these old pictures.

It's kinda petty, but after doing this kind of selfish crap constantly, to get attention.... I just wanna kick her in the box.

I go out and shoot 3 times or so a week at songwriters nights, and artist showcases, etc etc. Basically Nashville night life shoots. I do these mainly for free and put them up on my facebook and myspace. I had to start watermarking every pic. While its flattering so many people were using my images for their profile pictures I did get a bit irritated when very few gave me a credit, so now I have to spend extra time adding watermarks to every gallery I upload.

However I did get some work out of it. Im shooting all the still photos for a new reality show that is being shot in Nashville now about the music industry, so Ill actually get paid on that deal plus name on the credits of the show. Kind of neat, but ya watermark everything to make sure you get your credit.
