issues with WP and WP MU on the same box?

I've got a couple blogs running wordpress on the same box, no issues. There's also a site running the nubiles tube script with no issues.

Another user on my machine just installed WP MU, and now the blogs are having issues. They will work fine for a while, and then they have problems loading. When the problems appear, none of the blogs work, but the tube does work. So I don't think the issue is with php or mysql, and the load on the machine is pretty light.

Has anyone seen issues with wordpress, and wordpress MU, on the same machine? Any pointers on how to resolve the issue?

I had him re-install wordpress MU and now all the blogs have been loading fine for the last hour, that seems to have fixed it so far.

His "Hello World" post is giving a 404 error, and a test post he made also gives a 404.

Anyone having issues with wordpress MU?

What am I missing?

Another issue since he installed Wordpress MU, my regular wordpress won't schedule posts anymore. When the scheduled time arrives, I get a "schedule missed" error.
