This is our company?s first new offering to make use of industry standard HTML based Smarty templates exclusively. We?re excited to offer new features that will be easier for our customers to use. This is also our first truly plug-and-play offering and requires little more from a site operator than specifying which mobile-compatible video formats they want to offer. The same content shown in a site?s standard member?s area is made available for mobile viewing.

Created specifically for viewing on mobile devices, the member?s area makes use of valid XHTML Mobile Profile coding to ensure that all pages work on the widest variety of mobile devices as well as on desktop browsers.

The mobile version has been designed as a scaled down version of the default member?s area. Features available to mobile members include coming soon update listings, news/blog, photo galleries, videos, search, model index complete with bios and optional extras pages for bonus sites and video feeds.

The initial release pricing for this is $295 which is a 1 time setup fee.

This is brand new. So far it's we've only automated the members area to be plug and play for mobile but code can easily be added to a tour to detect and redirect to a mobile tour.

Well you are getting usage up front. Plus your paying for updates, support, development.
Plus it is a business expense so you do sort of get it back anyways.

Hi Davie. We don't offer payment plans but we do credit the $500 1 time CMS install/setup fee towards the purchase price if you decide to buy it later.

For us the pricing is easy to justify.

On small scale, a single site or small network might need to make 5 sales a month to pay for the CMS. Large scale, say a program has 30 sites. They're paying about $5 per month per site for the software that manages the sites plus whatever general product support they use plus having someone in the background constantly developing new features and enhancing the software.

In the last 14 months for example we've released 2 new version upgrades and 2 major new offerings (Smarty template version and plug and play mobile). Someone could choose a cheaper CMS solution or one with a low 1 time purchase price (or go custom) but there's no way you'll get that much new coding done over the course of just over a year plus support for $1800.

The $150 month to month lease has worked well for most of our clients. As with any purchase, the value is up to the buyer. Most of our clients feel that what's provided for the fee is of value, those who don't see the value don't buy the product.

Hi Stan.
Neither your site, your product features list or product whitepaper makes mention of the word "mobile" not even once. If you did in fact have such a feature you have made no mention of it anywhere that it can be easily found.

Maybe you did develop such a groundbreaking, in demand feature but simply forgot to tell anyone about it.

Like almost all companies we make damn sure that ALL of our key features and selling points are listed on our site in at least 1 if not multiple locations and mentioned in press releases and forum posts so that customers are sure to see what our product offers.

We?ve done a LOT of development. 2 new version releases AND 2 new major offerings in the last 14 months alone including offering users a choice of a second template language (Smarty) and this new mobile offering. Elevated X has made more public announcements of large product enhancements than most of the other adult industry software companies combined yet not once have we claimed to be the first to offer anything until now. We are very careful to do all we can to avoid making false claims or misrepresenting what we sell.

We work very hard to provide a good product and one that's become very popular. Clearly a great deal of time and hard work goes into developing new features such as this and the last thing we want is someone coming into an announcement thread and derailing it with a post like the one you made.

Due diligence was done prior to posting this to ensure that no false claims were made. We were also very careful with the wording we chose for this exact reason. Note that we did not claim to be the first to offer mobile compatible video transcoding or sites but "the first to offer a fully automated plug and play version".

I have no desire to split hairs or get into a pissing contest with you about timelines but will say that our first offering of mobile compatible transcoding and a mobile functional site was 02-28-2008 per the date in an industry-wide press release nearly 2 years ago.

While your claim of having something similar may be true we?re unable to find evidence of this or any past claim made by you that suggests that your product has such a feature which leads us and most people of sound mind to believe otherwise.

Regardless of claims, we still believe we are the first to market with a fully automated plug and play mobile members area and have found nothing to prove contrary.
