Kmanrox/Moses/Rehab Dollars Ripped Us Off For $2400

As many of you know, our house caught on fire a few days before Christmas (thread|news article). We were living in a hotel for almost a week while we scrambled to find a new home. During that time we were in contact with Moses and Kmanrox from Rehab Dollars about a series of missing payments. After a couple days of them giving us the runaround they stopped replying to us altogether. We just heard back from them three days ago. They gave us a number of bullshit excuses as to why they could not release the payments to us. They was saying that all the signups that we have ever sent them were all with female names and similar logins. That is not even possible considering that we have different traffic coming from different sources at different times to a single landing page that has links to a bunch of celebrity sites from a number of celebrity sponsors, and they ALL pay - except for Rehab Dollars.

We're not talking about just a couple bucks here either. We have earned $2400 worth of signups over the last month and a half with them and we have not seen a single penny from them.

It's been a hard time for us lately, between our house burning down, having to live in a hotel, and having to deal with a shady sponsor that has just been stringing us along, milking us for signups, for a month and a half, with no intention of ever paying us - and all this going down over the holidays.

After getting vague promises about us getting a payout from them and them saying that they just needed to talk with someone before they issued payment and that everything was probably not going to be a problem, all communication ceased. Our ICQs and emails went unanswered. Just last night we gave an ultimatum to Kmanrox on ICQ and guess what - he responded! The next thing we know Kmanrox started a smear thread about Turboface because he knew that we were going to start this thread about him ripping us off! LOL

If I really was 'carding' wouldn't it make sense to use guys names and random logins? LOL This bullshit story of yours doesn't hold water, Kman. It's just a lame excuse to steal our money and you are not going to get away with it, we promise.

I am letting the entire adult webmaster community about these assholes. From posting about this on the other boards, some people have come up with some interesting points.

Yeah, this is becoming a common thing now. It's sad.

I'd like to believe this is because of issues with the economy and not shady programs. Then again, wasn't there a lot of drama with Kmanrox and he had to flee the country or something?

I have never seen carders sending that kind of traffic consistently, something is not adding up.

I would not expect anything less from a company such as rehab dollars, they use stolen celeb images to profit from, they are basically like the old days of usenet scraping and selling memberships.

Yea that would be one stupid carder. I'm thinking if a hacker got hold of a list with only female credit card holders he would do something else with it then hit porn sites.

How do you figure? Those stats only show traffic and sales. Not saying it's the case here but PLENTY of carders can bring in traffic numbers to make sales appear legit. Even traffic from sources that appear to be from the same niche.


Seeing the referral urls would be more helpful. But even with that if the patterns are there for fraud signups there not much more to be said about it.


To the OP, do you have other programs that you work closely with that will vouch for your traffic and methods?

I remember when that Jens Van Assterdam was accused of copying a design for one of his sites from someone else.

When you actually looked below the surface it was a K-Man that was actually linked with the 'copied' design.

That's enough to trigger a warning from me.

I'd always try to avoid associating myself with people that copy/steal shit and the people they work for or with where appropriate.

There is an aggressive campaign underway that is yielding shocking results that other programs are lying to affiliates and telling them that they can promote Kim K's sex tape through their program. It is a complete lie and they are in fact getting affiliates into legal troubles.

there are other shady reasons they could be using a Canadian payee on their account - possibly tax reasons. Canadian webmasters don't get their earnings from American companies reported to the government via 1099 form. Maybe they have a Canadian relative/friend who receives and cashes their checks and sends them cash.
