    blogging advice.

I was pointed in the direction of creating a blog to help me get started making some money in the adult web industry without biting off more than i can chew. I don't really know much about them so any advice on creating one, styling, affiliates or anything would be very much appreciated.

    thanks

i suggest you to make blogs with handwritten descriptions You may try some unsaturated niches or a micro niche if it`s possible .

I second the suggestion of WordPress. They have a great spam filter and you can do adult stuff there. LoveSandra is right about not going into an oversaturated niche. You'd be competing against too many people there.

If you're going to be writing the blogposts yourself then go with something you know and like. You'll write the best posts about what you love the most. Visit other blogs and emulate what you like. Don't copy outright but get a feel for what other people are doing. It's going to take a little time to get it right so just start doing it. Your first blog doesn't necessarily have to be your big success.

Wordpress is the right choice for starter and expert affiliates. You can do about anything with it. WP it's not only a blogging platform but a very powerful CMS. It's free and you can add thounsand of plugins to extend capabilities. Not taking about website apparence, change theme in a click too.

You can try Gamma-Tube plugin for WP. Score-XML need to be updated due to sponsors XML feeds update.

          Wish you luck !

First, youre the affiliate. You are affiliated with a program or paysite and make sales commission from any sales you generate from your blog.

To generate sales you write about a subject, in porn its usually a pretty female. You are basically putting her on display and trying to sell your readers on seeing more of her or more like her, which of course costs them money. Your blog is basically a disguised gathering of free samples intent on making spenders out of readers. Just enough samples to keep them coming back and not so much that they never spend any money (see tubes)

But Im sure you already understand the above and care more about the more technical part of it.

You join a program as an affiliate. Search their affiliate area for free content you can use on your blog to promote them. You for example will find a free hosted gallery of pictures taken from a scene of a fat midget fucking two skinny dudes. Your sponsor has both video and pictures available of this scene in the members area available to paying customers. You post some pics on your blog and link to the website that has the full pic set or full video. That link says something like 'see the rest of the pictures here' or 'theres video too! download the full length movie here' or 'more gangbanged midgets on Big Fat Midget Tits'

Your referred customers, the people who visit the paysite you promote directly from your blog are tracked by cookies and other methods. To be tracked you have to be sure to use the proper link codes from the program/sponsor area. You cant just link to bigfatmidgettits.com or it wont be tracked. You have to add the business part to the link bigfatmidgettits.com/tour.html?JerryRude Each sponsor method of tracking differs so the link codes wont look exactly like the example above.

One thing I recommend is using ICQ. For some reason the adult community uses it.

add me to it if u have any questions, i could probably get you started. 221-684-077

I started blogging about 4 years ago and used the first sponsor who offered hd content for $1. I earned $120 in just a week... darn sponsor didn't pay me when I started collecting :D

But the good thing is, I knew the power of blogs and have been working on some of them up 'til now. So good luck on your venture bud

General porn is a dying thing, due to the overwhelming amount of illegal content available on tubes sites.

If you are only now getting into blogging pick micro niches (for instance adult baby diaper sex) or something strange (ie balloon sex) -- things that are hard, or impossible to find on the major tube sites are still in demand.

Or consider building some webcam blogs and marketing one of the webcam affiliates... adult dating is also a good one...

Just remember, whatever you do - do not resort to the shortcut - which often is Morphing RSS blogs, or autoblogs --

                        Blog Post Tips:

Google loves quality content, and regular updates -- so write all of your text from scratch and make it good! -- here are some tips for writing unique, handwritten content:

keyword consistency at 2-3% is good, use the main keyphrase you target in the title of your post, also in the body, add tags, when adding images, fill out the alt tags -- rather than hot linking images, it's best to store them on your server -- name the images your keyphrases. If you promote lets say amputee sex, name one of your images in the post amputee-sex.jpg, the other amputees-fucking.jpg, for instance -- it's unreal how much traffic comes from google images and the like. When inserting images, use HQ images from the sponsor webmaster area, and post them so they take up almost 100% of the width of the post column in your theme (that means if the posts are 550 pixel wide, set the images 500 to 550 wide to make them look High Quality and HD)

                        Wordpress Tips:

-Install the latest version of wordpress, and always have it up to date to prevent SQL injection hacks that can replace your sponsor code.
-When it comes to plugins, only run the essential ones -- too much plugins can cause stress on your server and make it run slower (Slower server=less visitors, as many who won't see your page loaded instantly will leave and never come back)
-Some essential plugins are Platinum SEO, SEO Friendly Images, DB Cache, Ultimate GA Analytics, Akismet, and NoLIP (NoFollow Links in Posts)
-Set your permalinks in Options->Permalinks to /%category%/%postname%/
-Under Options>Privacy make sure its set to Allow Search Engines
-Use Widgets (Apperance>Widgets) to add content to the side bars
-For maximum effectiveness use a 3 column layout

These are some ideas that come to mind right off the bat.. good luck

You may also want to do a google search for adult blog resource, it will let you submit your blog to other sites...
