FACT: No One Was Called a Scammer
Enough already.
No matter how many times you repeat it, or how you try and bend it to what you want it to mean, or bridge two distant points no one was called a scammer. At best, based on the series of events THAT DAY the original post may have inferred he was a fake nick.
Under the logic being used in these threads, if some one like tony parra (sorry tony), who has said he works at Subway (or fast food in general) had a thread started about him with his name in the title, and someone posted a picture of the Batts at McDonalds pictures to imply he was a fast food worker he could say you are trying to call him Batts and a scammer.
Based on the events that day in regards to BigDeanEvans, Splenderous_Male banning, the Batts ICQ's an hour after being banned, the remarks BDE made towards me that day (without proof mind you), and a nick with no sig nor contact information it most people could take those series of coincidences and inferred the same. A fake nick.
Even if you look at the subject header, what does it imply? A fake nick. Not that anyone is a scammer, nor anything else. The circumstance again, ON THE DAY, were a whole hell of a lot more convincing then THIS THREAD where people were accusing me of being a fake nick, and saying shit without any proof. Should they all be banned? No one was.
Just because you want to go that extra mile in word association games and saying "Batts" is, or his name in any reference on GFY, means "scam" does not make it so. That's your own personal business and opinion. Not everyone knows who Batts is, nor his history here.
Additionally, I explained that based on the circumstances that day, and time line, how the opinion on the fake nick came to be. I apologized to him. Yet he, and a handful of others, keep beating this war drum saying these things that frankly are not true in regards to scammer references, and what not. None of that was ever inferred from that post, or any remarks I have ever said in regards to BigDeanEvans. Maybe if I had a history of saying things in that regard to him or about his business, someone could make that association. But there isn't.
Lastly, there are many who do not like me. That's fine. There are plenty of people I do not like on the boards myself. Nor will they ever do business with me, or I with them. You have the option to put me on ignore, or use that F.F. plug in so you do not see myself or my posts on GFY.
Have things gotten out of hand at times? Sure. Have I messed up at times? Everyone has. However, I apologized publicly for my mistakes, and meant it. If someone does not want to accept that apology, fine. However, this twisting of the issue is really getting out of hand. People, myself included, are getting tired of seeing my name daily on the front of GFY.
