Oh... My... Fucking... God ! I find this pretty offensive ! Fuck know's where your from, but the British Police are far from cowards !
They are not armed like 90% of the worlds police... yet somehow we manage to have less violent crime, gun crime, police related killings... ect ect...
The protest was about the Palastinians and Jews... it was suppose to be a peaceful protest... most of the police were community police, the ones with blue on their backs... they are people who do normal jobs and police in their spare time... hardly hard and fast officers !
As usual a peaceful protest got ruined by a few choice idiots wanting to be gobby ! You can hear the genuine protesters telling them to stop, pretty pointless mind. The police were right to retreat, you probably didnt get to see the clip where the riot police stepped in and restored order !
And as many have pointed out, in other countries such as the USA, there would probably be a ton of dead just about now...
There is an argument for the police to be armed, especially after the recent rampage shooting that took place... but I for one am a believer in how our police do things... I think our police and our army are some of the bravest in the world... and as I said at the start I find the comment they are cowards really fucking insulting !
