Funny, I had the same thing happen to me, except I was smart enough to have an eager friend who tends to deal with these people greet them at the door and tell them all that while I escaped out the back. I also made sure that once they beat up my friend and got around to the back that my Filipino housekeeper was there to greet them, say they were me, and give them some more BS in poor English on my behalf.
