I don't know what your politics are, nor do I care. I don't read political threads. There is only 1 person on this board whose political stance I would feel comfortable betting on, and that is 12Clicks. That isn't because I spend my time reading about how gfy posters think the world should be ran. It's because he posts that way in general threads as well.

To answer your original question, no, Randy West should not be banned. Yes, he said a shitty thing. But saying shitty things is not a reason to be banned. Not liking what someone says is not a reason to be banned.

The OP introduced the subject of his daughter to the board. So RW did not bring family into the conversation. RW also did not threaten anyone. He expressed a wish.

If that person really is a parent, then the mother in me has sympathy for the OP in that no one wants to hear that type of thing said about their child. However, the OP, by his gfy join date, is not an internet noob, and trolls have been around as long as the internet. Posting something of that nature opens the door to trolls saying nasty things. It is nothing to take seriously, as reactions are troll food.
