If you have a sec, need advice

I just did a minor redesign of two pages on our site:

I'm wondering if the check marks on the left fit in:

This is not spam I just need some unbiased opinions.

Also if you have another extra minute does this page look too cluttered:

I think the grey rows in the pricing chart are too dark, might want to make them lighter to increase readability.

Thanks really I just need an unbiased opinion. We redesigned almost everything over the last week.

To be honest one of the reasons I posted here is because other places would think it was spam, when I just need some help.

I'd leave the web hosting plans right away probably.. but thats just me. When I see a huge space of practically the same color with way too much text on it, I bail.

But now I'm just giving an opinion from a designer's perspective. If I'd be on the lookout for hosting and found your site, I don't see a reason to not read the plans.

Thanks, I know what you mean. It has too much. Maybe I can find a way to use expanded boxes so when you click the section the content expands onto the page.

Just for the record, since I started this thread I enlarged the boxes on the web hosting page, added icons instead of check marks, added java drop downs for the advanced hosting options. Add the sales text after the plans on the web hosting. Removed some of the images and added text in place for faster loading, added a action button for each section on the main front page. Changed the color scheme to silver blueish added some borders for certain images, sized the page images to fit more flush. Removed unneeded jargon. Seems so simple now that it's done. lol

I would leave out the toggle.png images. If you click 'em, they dont do anythink, as you use javascript on the a href.

Personaly i would make 2 toggle images. One up and one down. If up is clicked, is gets replaced with the other image.

Further more, when displaying the hidden information, i would use jquery. You can either use slideToggle() or make a custom animation. Ur switchMenu() isnt easy on the eyes so to speak.

Im not sure i like the link colors or the link visited colors. But i know from experience that colorschemes are one of the hardest things to get right and to be honest, i too have problems picking out the correct colors.

All in all, i do like the layout. Nicely done!

Your telling me, I have fought colors schemes for decades now and none are ever perfect. The reason I like GFY the best is it's easiest for me to read then any other forum. That and it's not uptight or full of BS.

I was thinking about the other Java's bbut I hate auto loading anything, I prefer to have clicks. Good point on the image that should trigger the content as well as the link or just that. I catch myself trying to click it too.

All I know for the colors is our branding is two tone blue and little green so we have to stay close to that but have it be easy to read. Maybe this is not possible lol.

We want newbies to know they are getting a lot and not to worry too much about their bandwidth needs. Some people do not know the difference and just notice the number and compare. We just switched actually because a couple customers where concerned about not getting enough bandwidth and when we explained how much gigs are in megs they where surprised how much extra they actually have over their needs.

Do you think it's a problem maybe?

Imho the site looks not bad but it also gives a feeling of messy a bit. If I was you I would highlight the things that are more important to give it some weight and priority over the rest of page. But please don't take any offense, I just say what I think.

Of course not, I was hoping for some honest feedback good or bad.

It's funny sometimes when you analyze a page so much you can't think normal about it anymore.
