Wordpress Blog not centred in IE but ok in FF

Any ideas on this, I've been trying all sorts? It was previously ok in the old versions of Wordpress, then upgraded, now it's not centred in IE and Chrome

Cant post urls so the src is different than in the rendered html but:

<img border="0" alt="Dana Lightspeed - maybe the kewlest girl on the net!" src="/wp-content/uploads/2006/04/dana-150x150-2.jpg">

Image broken, FF wraps the alt text but IE and Chrome dont which makes the left column a lot wider than it should be thus messing up your layout. Right column has same problem with broken images and long alt texts.
