I am wondering if anyone has a really good tutorial/educational thingy on the standards for video formats for adult sites and all that, what Im noticing is high quality videos that are relatively small in file size yet my videos are a gig or more .. their recorded in 720p, where should i go from there, is there some compression that i should be doing that doesnt lose enough quality to be concerned about?

Look into what codec (compresser decompresser) is being used while rendering the video. Some are better than others and greatly affect quality and file size. Play around with them until you achieve a balance of quality and file size.

Video format plays a key part as well. Flash video rendered with a good codec can produce excellent results for streaming while the download version of the same video may be wmv or mp4.

FLV will always be the smallest size. As well as usually the best to use.

I use Sony Vegas 9 to make my wmvs etc and Moyea to make Flv.s
