Hi guys,

I'm completely new here.

I'm a broke ass noob who intends to get started in this business.

Heard that one before? Yeah I know

I do have a few assets that I hope will be in my favour and I hope this might turn into an interesting thread for any one else who is in a similar position to myself. I'll start by thanking you guys for any help and support.

So my plans and what I've done so far;

I had a plan to produce some content and sell it on the web! As business plans go I know that Warren Buffet will not be losing sleep over me

I've gone so far as to make some video and start loading it onto Clips4sale which offers me a profit share.

Since reading most of the educational series on this forum I've quickly realised that I'm being naive and need a lot more planning.

My assets are a medium size brain, a HD camcorder, an I phone for photos, a camper van ( yep I'm that broke) a willing young girlfriend, I have the technical ability to load and customise a Wordpress blog onto a self hosted provider and buy a domain name ( this was in the past for a travel blog), I can use premier pro and photoshop to a basic level.

So that's it so far, I know I have to build some blogs, and try to build traffic, I know my content is perhaps too mainstream although I have a few niche ideas that have been done plenty but maybe I could make them work.

So why help me? Good question. Well for one this thread could become a good resource here on GFY. Two ill be completely open with my ideas, failures and successes warts and all I'll inform you of all the details including financial so that you can see the whole picture. Finally why should you help me make money? All I can promise is that if I do make money I'll let the people who help me decide what to do with some of of it in the form of a charitable donation. A poll or some such thing.

So what shall I do next guys? Shall I finish loading content onto Clips4sale (c4s)? They need 10 clips to activate my account I have 4 as of today and I have to use coffee shop wifi to upload the other 4 I have ready.

Get blogging? Where? How many?U

Was thinking of offering some copywriting here but don't have anything to show people of my ability? Maybe do it for free at first.

Also thought of providing amateur content for sites as I have contacts with other amateurs.

ATM I'm trying to fulfill my clips at c4s and a similar site called AdultWork. Just to try and get some income.
Anyway I'll stop now and see if this interests any of you.

Hi and welcome,
I have no to little experience with selling content. The only thing that comes to my mind is to build a website and use as many big tubes as possible. Your can become their partner, upload short clips and use your own banners/text links for you promotion. This is an excellent way how to get noticed by people and it brings traffic. I'd build some website where you can sell your content.

That's a good idea about the tube site Rachel, how long should I make the clips for them? 5 mins?

Building a content sales website is a little beyond me ATM but would love to do that in the future. What's the simplest route to achieve this?

So list of cheap and easy things I'm doing right now

I'm joining a lot of fetish and more general porn forums, feels a bit sneaky this but ultimately if I produce good content I'm only giving the punters what they are looking for. I'm going to pose as a punter looking for my kind of content and after a while when I have befriended some other members I can point them towards an excellent source I have discovered. As I say a little sneaky, what you think ?

In the process of planning some blogs but not sure what free platform to use? Tumblr ! Sensual writer? They both look good.

Like Rachel's idea of putting up some clips on some tube sites, which ones lets say 10 to start with. XVideo, porntube, xhampster, ???

Anyway have 8 vids uploaded to clips4sale so that will be active soon and might get some $.

One of my blogs will obviously I guess be a fetish porn review blog and one dedicated to my own content. Free links for any members interested. Not that they are worth anything yet but heh who knows?

There are plenty of good places to start a free blog, sensual writer is as good as many.

I recommend you also start using this service to get some traffic and capitalize on your blog/tube/sites from the get go.

Generally the rule on tubes is the longer the clips, the better the traffic but also much greater number of visitors are required to make a sale - hey why should they buy it if they can get it for free right? So most people use 1,3 or 5 min clips tops.

So my tenth video will hit Clips4sale today and they will hopefully start selling.

Started three blogs with sensual writer , a bit slow getting my head around the admin but im sure it will work out.

If any one who's posted in this thread wants some links from amateur teen ass fetish sites then let me message me. I'm going to have an on subject link list and a more general one for links not within the subject.

Going to start with 3 blogs and expand them from there.

Any other noobs here want to share some experiences ?

So I have a sale and if I manage to swerve charge backs and whatever else might mess it up have the grand sum of $5.99 winging it's way eventually to me. ( once I meet the required cash out total)

Trying to get to grips with setting up blogs propery, that's even before I start writing posts for them.

Setting up accounts with another revenue sharing site, Adult Work

Learning about affiliate program's and traffic building

Thinking about setting up a tube site or thumbnail gallery, is that possible for me with my knowledge and resources?

Turnover in July was slow to say the least

Income totalled $57.00 which is not large enough to withdraw from Clips4sale so no actual income.

Expenditure was about $ 350 excluding my time, ( 150hrs so far)

So not great by any measure.

I have some other plans that might help this situation.

Offer my services to members here, I've read a few threads about people interested in selling their older but still profitable sites or their preference would be to let someone else manage them whilst they concentrate on other projects

The problem for them with the preferred plan is trust. Well I am honest and will ask a few of these guys to give me a trial with some less important sites in the hope that I can prove to them my worth in exchange for a profit share type deal. I get some income and the owner gets to concentrate on other project / retirement

I also enjoy writing and will be offering my services writing blog content and content descriptions for movies etc

Hi PJay I'm a noob to the industry too so forgive me if my advice is crappy lol. If you're still looking at submitting to big tube sites I saw one a while back, think it was xtube, where you created your own channel and your viewers could send you donations in return for you producing their suggestions, some people did very well on it and might be a good way to build up an audience
