Is this a scam or legit?
Hi guys,
I need your advice. I just got an email from mister John Miller, an Internet Marketing Executive who wants to advertise on my website. We mailed back and forward 3 times. He says he would like a textlink on my mainpage which leads to an articlepage containing 2 links to his adultsite and one general link like Wiki, BBC or About. He gave me 2 url examples for these articlepages: fuckedmachine and bootyfucked d0T c0M Asked for his website's url to which he replied: WorldSex d0T c0M But he emailed me with a Gmail account and the whois data for the 3 sites above aren't the same. On top of that he never asked questions regarding my traffic and he wants to make a deal for one year of advertising. I find it all very fishy. I phoned with WorldSex but they already closed for the day. Will call again tomorrow. But in the meantime: what do you think? Is this a scam or is he legit? Anyone got similar emails? Here's the first email he sent me: QUOTE Dear Sir / Madam, It's my pleasure to let you know that I am interested in gaining a few text links from your website mysite.com . I work for a number of sites vary from Adult, Porn and given the similarity with the content of your site , I feel it would great to discuss about the advertisement prospect. I will provide all required information, as well as the link text and the URL. It would be great to hear back from you about this. I wish you the best of luck and looking forward to a long and healthy business relationship with you and your company. I look forward to hear from you ![]() Best Regards, John Miller Email: HIS EMAIL @gmail.com Internet Marketing Executive UNQUOTE Thanks in advance for your help! Enrique |

Given the less than stellar grammar in the quote you provided, even if it was legit, I don't think I would do business with them. But it sounds like a typical scam email to me.
