If you have some room in your budget, GFY member Yo Adrian offers an very informative SEO educational site tailored specifically to adult webmasters. It helped me out a great deal. Also, since SEO is ever-evolving, a lot of the info you find elsewhere (even in the GFY educational series) can potentially be outdated, so it helps to have a source that keeps up with new implementations. http://www.adultseotraining.com/
