Mainstreeam .info domains
GFY'ers
any has an opinions on using .info domains for non-adult affiliate websites? The .info are on sale for .99 @ 1and1 ![]() |

I'd rather have (1) affiliate site on a .com then a handful of .info sites. Plus you could make the difference up if ya ever sold them as the .com would be more desirable to a buyer. You'll probably have headaches trying to transfer them out from 1&1 as well, would use GoDaddy and wait for deals as they run $1.99 and $2.49 .Com quite a bit.

I use a couple of info's, they rank perfectly well. If I'm going to use a .info, it's going to be a strong 1 or 2 word though.

my first adult site was built on an info and still brings most of the traffic today. also transferring out of 1and1 is easy because it's the same procedure for any provider per ICANN rules.
I don't fancy them that much nowadays since getting .com's/.net's or .org's is under $5 but still if you need a cheap one and can't find a free .com/.net/.org I'd say you could use a .info as well. |
