Solo girl

Hello,

Not sure if I posted this before, but this is a recurring thing in my mind. For more than 10 years, I always had the idea of establishing a successful solo girl site, such as Bryci.com, karisweets.com, etc.

The other day I met a really hot and cute girl at the club, who is also very charming --great smile--, and after some convincing today, she accepted to work with me on a solo girl site. Of course, she would be the model and I would be the webmaster. The only thing that we talked so far is that I would pay her around $400 per day for photoshoots. Is this too much or too low? I'm planning to squeeze in around 8 sets per day --hard days of work I guess, shooting, changing clothes/make up, shooting again, etc--.

Regarding the sets, I'm not sure if I should hire a photographer, go to a studio, or buy a camera (this last one is probably not too smart as I have no experience in this area). On the other hand, studios in my area charge around $350 for a pack that includes around 4 hours of photoshoots, with 4 changes of clothes, and include a makeup person.

Any thoughts? So far, for getting 50 sets of pictures and 10-15 videos, I'm looking at an investment of:
Model: $2800 ($400 * 7 days of work).
Studio: $4900 ($350 * 14 packs)
Website: $1000-2000 (either in development time, outsourcing, or a combination of both)
Total: $8700-9700.

Any thoughts on that initial investment? I could probably also convince the girl to do some webcam shows from time to time, adding to the content at a cheap/free price.

Would you consider this a high risk or low risk investment? I believe that owning 50 sets of high quality pictures and 10-15 videos of a hot girl might already have some value, but I could be wrong. Also, I'm not planning on hitting it big or becoming rich with this, but as something to provide some income for 5-6 years.

Also, maybe the studio is not the best idea, and I could hire a photographer to do the job as well, although the quality might not be the same, and I'm kind of curious on how people would react to a pretty girl at its best possible appearance every time.

Ideas? Help?

The girl needs to be really hot and perfect, also, depends on how will you get the traffic to the site

Thanks for your answer. I don't know if she is "perfect". I think she is, however, a hot, cute 'girl next door' type. She is also willing to learn and enthusiastic about the project, which I guess is a positive thing. But I could always try to find another girl, for me right now it's more about knowing what should I expect, what kind of investment is a decent one, etc.

Regarding the traffic, I was thinking on first doing a beautiful website in terms of design, and create an affiliate plan with CCBill, which I could then promote to other webmasters, big sites like freeones.com, etc. A good SEO as well, but I guess that most of the traffic would come from affiliates.

Thoughts? :p

High risk.

I have done 2 or 3 camgirl sites before and I have always brokered them on a 50/50% share of revenue based on me doing all the advertising.

The only difference is they keep 100% of the AW and Cam4 takings etc as that has nothing to do with me.

Thanks for the input NakedSnow... Were those sites successful? Any recommendations?

Also, I've been always curious on the amount of members that a solo girl site can have. For example, a site like http://www.alisonangel.com/, which is around 300K alexa (maybe around 75K visits a month)... On membership based sites, what would be a rough estimate of the number of members? I'm guessing that with a conversion rate of 1:500, that would mean around 150 members? Too low? Too high?

The major one operated on 60 members paying £20 a month including something like 15 minutes of guaranteed webcam time. so £1200 a month.

She takes £600 home.

The rest she makes on cam4 etc
