New guy, some questions

Hey all, this is my first post here, but I've been frequenting this forum for quite some time now.

I decided to try earning some extra cash through adult content, but as most newbs I'm totally overwhelmed by the topic, so here's some questions that been bugging me.

1. Is tgp a viable option? Is one site enough? Do I have to update the galleries very often (like, daily)?
2. For a tube site or tgp is the overall design and layout the most important (I get such impression).
3. What are the earnings a newb like me could get from a tgp? If it's less than $200 a month I guess I shouldn't bother.
4. I know programming pretty well (I don't use php though), so I guess that's one point for me, I'm also kinda into internet promotion stuff. What are other skills I need to acquire to see some profits?

Thanks in advance.

Anything is a viable option IF you do it right. It's common belief that the adult industry is harder to earn in compared to 5 years ago. I doubt you will make $200 a month. But that doesn't mean you should bother, barely anyone would make that much just starting. You need to establish yourself, get yourself known. If you know how to promote and grow your site and have unique content/ideas. You will do well. And if not, it's an experience for the next time.

Unless you have a good base of traffic, $200 a month starting out on a tgp is going to be hard to squeeze man.

You can always try and use the site as more of a playground. With traffic comes income, not right from the start. My site is now a year online and now the bucks are coming ($800 a month +/-), but it takes some work. And you should update your galleries etc. almost daily to make sure your site is interesting enough for Google to include your site in the long list of tgp websites..
