adult site ok on .org's ?

posting here since it's a noob like question.

thinking about picking up a .org. but is it ok to have porn on .org's ? seems like there's wording about non-profits only and such.

Nothing would stop you doing it.

But a .org 99% of the time sucks for porn.

.com is king and .net may be good if you have an awesome domain name. Anything else is 99% of the time bad.

Gonna echo what everyone else has said. Go .com or expect people to not find your site.

Its interesting, all of you are in such universal agreement on the subject.

When I posted a similar topic (regarding domain extensions) on WebmasterWorld forums about a year ago...they were all completely opposite...saying it made no difference at all what the domain ended in. Just how the marketing / seo was done on the domain itself.

It's ok, I had a cam WL on a .org domain and made decent money. However I tend to go with a .com for new long-term projects.

No it doesn't

OP, there's nothing to stop you from using .org for porn. Of course .com is better, but if you can't get it then .org will do.
