Business How to create an adult website with paid traffic?

Hey guy and gals,

I'm new to the forum. I wasn't sure where should I post this thread, here or in the introduction forum.

I've been buying couple thousand$ a day of adult traffic for the past 3 years, promoting adult dating and one click flow VOD offers.

Recently I decided that I want to expand my publishing side of the business, and to tell you the truth, I'm totally amazed with the size of the industry.

I mean, I've been in touch with lots of media buyers that promote affiliate offers just like me, but most of us, have no idea about how publishing works.

Anyway, I have lots of questions...

I have lots of remanant traffic and I thought of driving it to my own website, which I'm clueless about how to build it.

For the past week, I've been raping the forum for information but it seems like all the guides are for total newbs that don't want to invest money, and create websites using cheap SEO techniques that would eventually make couple of dollars a day.

So my question is this, what type of site would you build if you don't give a shit about SEO and want to build it with paid traffic?

Which scripts would you use? I'm not looking for cheap ones, but for good ones. Cashflow is not a problem.

Do you know of any ebooks or information products that would explain me about the industry? Now, in my adult media buying world 99% of the products are shit. However, they give some good introduction about the industry. I'm lost in lingo. Sponsored content, TGP, MGP, FHG, WTF?!?!

I've been doing some spying around at the sources that I buy traffic, and I've found those sites:

Which trade script are they using? I've been seeing this script all over, and it seems like it doesn't have any footprint that could lead me to the source. Except of all images are hosted at `content1` or `contentX` dot domain dot com. Which brings me to a though that it's sort of an adnetwork that serve ads based on some server side PHP script.

If someone with a record is ready to do consulting/mentorship or whatever. Paid or as a barter in exchange of media buying knowledge, I'm open to it.

I have been in the trenches as a traffic guy using non industry standard strategies to drive traffic to big brand sites.

Rules I live by

1. Never buy traffic
2. Never sell traffic
3. Create your own traffic with real people
4. Send that traffic to your own sites

Tons of adult content exists for you to make $ from. White label a cam site....do something to make your $ with out a partner who will eventually take advantage of your services.....it is the porn industry....it happens.

You should sign up for affiliate programs and ask for some promotional content.

Definitely try chaturbate, they are rocking. I have made a plenty of cash with them.

I already read those guides at adultwebmasterblog .com before writing this post.

I have several problems with that approach.

First, it's based on SEO. And SEO is shit. It should be part of your business. A small part. It shouldn't be your business.

Secondly, I read the comment section as well. You (or the author, not sure it's u) wrote that each sites makes you between $1 to $10/day.

The thing is that I don't want to make it for pennies. I'm not a typical newbie. Maybe I'm a newbie in terms of adult website publishing, but I have a successful business already. I want to do publishing, only to diversify my current business.

I'm here to make at least $1K/day from a site, not $10/day. I know it's possible, because I have publishers that on some days I pay them more than that through Juicy Ads for example. Unfortunately, Juicy is a blind network so I can't see the domain and reverse engineer it.

Another thing... I won't create a blog on Tumblr. I want to own the land.

So you basically you think you're smart by buying traffic and now you want to expand your horizons and think SEO work is stupid and want to make thousands right from the start? And you're too good to branch out to Tumblr and other places to help your cause? Hmm you sound really smart. You must have so much potential.

I'm smarter than making $10.00 a day. I'm at least a thousand dollar a day per site guy. But I'm trying to pick brains on how to do it... Please man, you sound worse than an Indian Scammer on Black Hat World.

What I wrote came from my experience, which define my goals and actions. Everyone might have different experience.

I've been an affiliate since December 2007. Buying adult traffic since early 2013.

During almost 8 years as an affiliate I've done a lot. Paid traffic, SEO and you name it.

I've been averaging $1500/day profit with SEO in 2010. But SEO is not a business, it might be part of the business. One day Google can do an algo change and you're fucked. And I'm not even speaking on penalties. Even a drop from position #1 to position #3 will hit you like a bitch.

I'm still doing some SEO, but that's not my focus. I decided it's not for me.

Regarding Tumblr? Back in 2008 I used to have a Squidoo lens that was making couple of hundreds a day. But I got fucked, since then I learnt that I rather owe my own land.

And as for "Smart enough" to make $10/day. I rather lose $1K/day and will know within a week that I've failed than work my ass off to make $10/day. And yes, I know, I can automate it, and make 1000 tumblrs automatically. Already did it when I was hunting for deleted high PR tumblrs back at the day. And I also had hundreds of exact match domains when it was easy, that were making me somewhere between $1-$10. But as I said, it ain't my cup of tee.

I'm doing mainstream traffic as well, not only adult. I built a content site couple of weeks ago and it already makes me $250/day with good margins. That's when I decided to try building a content site in adult with paid traffic. And I'm damn sure that within a week or two, I'll make more than $1K/day with that site on mainstream traffic.

The reason I opened this thread is because I wanted to get guidance on the type of sites that work in adult (and not help in how to get traffic). And I also offered to pay for consulting. But it's fine by me if no one wants to help. I'll crack it by myself. It would take me couple more weeks.
