Hi there everyone. I am Marc L, the guy who, before selling off my online business 8 years ago to the employees, started AdultChamber.com in 1999. That too was part of the business that was sold. Before that, in 1989, I created a 124 line BBS called Lifestyle BBS, running off a single PC. I made a lot of money and got out then the employees wanted to run the company. I am almost 70 now and retired in beautiful south Florida, never forgetting this great industry, the webmasters, and the hundreds of expos I attended with exhibit booths and running seminars to get new webmasters interested in our arena.

I left with a reputation of honesty and never screwing anyone, all while watching GFY grow into a powerful site for webmasters.

This morning I decided to write a business prospectus to sell off the balance of my adult holdings; RateXpics.com, which is primarily used to promote AdultToyStore.com. It includes 18x.com and other domains that are used to generate traffic to RateXpics.com. Anyone interested, let me know.

Anyway, you guys have been great to me over the years and I will not forget you all.

It is really difficult when you make the decision to leave the online community that added so much to your life. For me, it generated enough to retire well.

If RateXpics.com and the associated domains such as 18X.com and AdultToyStore.com do not sell as a whole, then I can always keep it and allow RateXpics to keep generating monthly checks. Not a bad down side.

I find it a bit strange that you repeatedly talk about how much GFY has given you and how you will leave the community, yet you only have three posts, all of them in this very thread. And your user has been registered since 2013???!!!

To me, that does not add up.

Adraco, I was always very active in the adult community. I had my own webmaster board for many, many years. I just did not use other boards. As a matter of fact, GFY was very good to my company, in terms of webmasters straightening out misconceptions when they arose. When I sold the company and kept only a small part to keep me occupied, I was not active on any boards, just playing golf and dabbling with RateXpics.

Sorry if my post here sounds strange to you, but I am being quite sincere. I hope this explains it.
