Growing our subscribers
I'm hoping to get some insight and possibly some sage advice here from some of you industry vets. My bread and butter site has been operating for almost 9 years now. We have 100% exclusive content, constant updates (3 days a week) and have pretty much cornered the naughty nerd market for softcore but our numbers have been plateaued for about the past year and it's driving me mad.
What I cannot grasp is marketing in the adult industry marketplace. We've got a decent social presence, with 310k Facebook fans, and about another 150k between twitter and all pull in a fair amount of traffic, but I feel like we could be doing more so I started campaigns on Traffic Junky and Juicy ads. Both are telling me that we're getting decent impressions, and a fair amount of clicks (although I feel like Traffic Junky is giving me false numbers) but I'm just not grabbing the conversions. So here's where I come to you all. Where do you advertise? Is there another way I could be promoting our content, and features in order to gain subscribers? Thanks! |

I am not paysite owner, but you could do this:
1) partner with pornhub etc. and upload your content to their site with banner below video 2) contact sites from your niche directly and buy advertisement spots 3) your facebook page have a lot of fans, but there is no activity, so it just doesn't do it's job. you can re-engage your fans by promoting your posts with facebook ads. same thing you can do on twitter. buying fans (even on facebook) doesn't seem like a good idea. 4) setup affiliate program and propagate it 5) try to design few landing pages and track conversions on them to find which one converts best 6) what about to propagate on hentai sites? I know its animated, but arent those people pretty much the same as cosplayers? |
