Hey guys,

Just looking for some critiques on my site... the URL is in the title or in my signature. I'm using CCBill, etc. on the thumbnail links... with about 20% total skimmed, 10% going to pay-per-click sites and 10% going to link-swapping. I'm quite new to the industry and trying to make a few bucks, like everybody else, but having trouble getting going. I started purchasing some traffic, so I'm getting about 2k + uniques a day, but only about 20% productivity (so only 1/5 visitors click a gallery).

Any suggestions? I'd appreciate anything.

The "catch" on the site is the categorically-driven search, to appeal to people of every taste. It seems to be popular so far...

I didn't even notice the "categorically-driven search" until I read you post.

You might want to make it more prominent somehow. (The colors of it, and having that image there makes it blend in too much, and I didn't notice them.)

Just out of curiosity...
My affiliates don't seem to be converting at all. There have been about 500 CCBill clicks, and I just signed up for PerfectGonzo where there have been 20 clicks so far... and not a single sale! Is this just bad luck so far, or...?

Its frustrating, but at this point I have put enough time & money into this project that I will do about anything to make it succeed...

Bad luck? You were not honestly expecting almost everyone who clicks to actually sign up where you? Only 20 people have clicked....start asking once it is in the hundreds...and depending on your traffic source (search engines, tgp's, purchased traffic) it could be much higher.

Your site seems to be down right now, which is probably not helping your conversions... :p

But like everyone else said, conversion ratios depend on your traffic. Sending feeder traffic to the site rarely gets you sales; what it will do is start your trades. Track them for productivity (dump the low producers) and you should be all right in a month or two, once you've built up a bookmark audience and have a lot of traffic coming from other popular sites.
