Hey guys, I was wondering if one had an adult video site in the top 500 alexa rankings but non monetized, roughly how much would this site be worth?

If you want some money & still people not to run away, use

It pays just little but won't affect your traffic, not abusive.
The site will create redirects with their thin upper text panel. You can do that in few ways,
1. to create single redirect link
2. to convert whole html/bbcode you paste. (when you put any name, it will remain in the list for you to manage it, or get code once again) and if it have preview thumbs it will create whole thumbnaied gallery & get you link code.
3. u can use script from their web that will convert all links to usercash redirects, where you can set excluded links - for example you don't want some traffic exchange links to be redirected cos' they can be not counted.

There are two knids of redirect.

1. pays 1$ for 10000 redirects, but the visitor need to click on "site contains adult content which is very anoying, try option 2 :DDD
2. pays 1$:25000 redirects, it only ads banner on top, nothing more, nothing less.

You can say yourself why should you do that? For few penny? I have site with 3000 visitors & make about few 3$ a day, you are in top 500. Try it & you'll see nobody would suffer & you earn as top 500 few hundres $/ month.

Anyway server is very fast & it has about 3 hour downtime in few months I'm using them. It's super fast. It pays to Paypal, E-GOLD, E-passporte 1-3 day in month what you've earned in previous. They are reliable & pays allways on time. You must earn 5$ to get money but with top 500 it's not worth to mention. :D

it depends what kinda traffic it gets and where from. if the traffic is from countries where people just like to watch free content, it may be difficult to monetize it. It also depends what is the domain name.

having said so it definately has value. what is your own opinion in terms of value. and wud you care to share the name of domain,it will become more easy to answer ur q

Instead of trying to get in the top 500 of Alexa, try to make a site that converts. Then worry about finding more and more traffic.

You could have an "adult youtube" site in the top 500 and just burn bandwith all day and not make enough to pay the bill.

It sounds to me like you are just trying to make a high traffic site to give away free porn. Instead start smaller and try to entice people into paying to see more.

I have a site that ranks below 200.000 in Alexa but makes $ 0. If I'd sell it, it would bring probably $ 0. Then I have a site that ranks about 1.000.000 and makes $ 1.000 a month.
My computer geek can make a site rank really well in Alexa, but that doesn't mean much when it comes to earning money, I guess.

The site isn't monetized yet, but I imagine having a site with tons of traffic to get that ranking would probably mean that monetizing it with CPM or CPA would probably earn ok.

I was just wondering if a site that high ranking non monetized would sell for a good price.
