How do i go about having the number of posts in each category displayed in the list on my wordpress menu?

like this sort of thing

asians (21)
big tits (10)
teens (13)

that sort of thing

i didn't see a plugin for that, but i think it wouldn't be so hard to code that into the php code...

Try changing optioncount=0 to optioncount=1 in the code in the sidebar. So that it looks like

Code:

<?php wp_list_cats('sort_column=id&hide_empty=0&optioncount=1&hierarchical=1'); ?>
